Monty in his spot in front of the house.

This is where Monty sits sometimes.

He has his spot by the gas meter where he can watch the world go by.

The afternoon sun shines in.

He can watch the world go by.

Here's the view from outside.

Lovely Monty. He's a precious boy.

This is why I love my doggies.
They are patient and will always wait happily for their Dad.

Monty and Daisy have a haircut. Part 10.

Summer is well on the way, so it's time for our hair cut.
This is part ten and the last part of a very long saga. Phew.

Daisy is looking a lot sleeker now, and I am covered in dog hair !

Time to trim her luxurious beard !

OK, a bit of a brush to check on the results...

Oh, just lovely.
"Am I gorgeous now Dad ?"

Daisy, you are always beautiful.

"Thanks Dad. I feel a lot better now."
All done. Phew. Now time to clean up everything.

Gotta trim all the bits on the belly, on the legs, around her neck ...

Does that tickle Daisy ?
"zzzzzz, no it's lovely..."

Hold still, gotta trim everything ...

Looking better, almost done...

I couldn't resist sneaking in an extra post from my phone camera.
We brought this little hat back from Venice, just perfect for humiliating Daisy-Mae.
Isn't she just adorable !?

Is that nice Monty ?

"It's lovely Dad. It's very soothing, and I feel cooler already."

There we go. That's a good start.

Righto. Make a cuppa, sit down and prepare yourself for a long saga.

Summer is well on the way, so it's time for our hair cut.
I've put on my very old t-shirt and shorts, found the clippers and away we go...

Monty. You're first. Are you ready ?
"I'm ready Dad. I get very hot on our walks now."

Daisy looks a bit uncertain about it all.

"Dad, are you sure about this. You made a mess of my haircut last time and mum was very cross."

I'm sure Daisy. You are way too hairy, and there's fur all over the house !
A bit of oil on the clippers and I am ready.
